Steps To Root Mi Note 10 Lite Using Magisk Root App

• First off download and install “magisk Manager apk” on Mi Note 10 Lite Smartphone.
• Now extract the downloaded Mi Note 10 Lite stock ROM zip file on pc/laptop.
• Find the boot.img file from extracted firmware folder [ Image Folder ] and move it into phone storage.

• Now launch the Magisk Manager app, click on update, select Patch boot.img option and browse the boot.img file from your phone storage.

• As a result, Magsik will create new patched boot.img file for you . It will take couple of minutes.

• After completing the process, you can find the newly created patchedboot.img file in download folder of your device.

Step01 completed now. Pre patched boot image file or Mi Note 10 Lite root file created by Magisk manger app. So now if you want to root Mi Note 10 Lite then follow the next steps and flash it.

Step02 Flash Pre Rooted Patched Boot Image On Mi Note 10 Lite Using ADB Commands

After completing the step01, now you have pre-rooted patched boot.img file which root file for Mi Note 10 Lite MIUI 11. Now it’s the time to install it on Mi Note 10 Lite to get root access. We don’t have TWRp recovery that why we will flash it with adb commands.

Windows pc or laptop is must to perform this step. There is no any another option to root Mi Note 10 Lite without pc.

• Install “Minimal ADB & fastboot tool” on windows pc/laptop.

• Copy the newly created patched boot image and save it into extracted “Platform tool” folder. [ Must ]

• Come to the device and enable USB debugging in Xiaomi Mi Note 10 lite from developer option.
• Connect the device with pc via working USB cable.
• Next, Enter into platform tool, press & Hold the “Shift” key and right-click on the mouse to open the command window/PowerShell.

• Type the below adb command to check if the device is properly connected with pc or not?

adb devices

• Check your phone screen and allow USB debugging permission by clicking on “OK” button.

• Next, enter the following commands one by one….

Flash the “patch_boot.img” to install Magisk and root your Android device

fastboot flash boot patch_boot.img

For devices with A/B partition system, use the following commands:

fastboot flash boot_a patch_boot.img

 

fastboot flash boot_b patch_boot.img

NOTE: Don’t forget to replace [patched_boot.img] with the name of the boot image file you downloaded followed by the .img extension.

• After successful flashing above root commands, type the below command to reboot device into normal mode from fastboot mode.

fastboot reboot

• Done!!! Wait for normal boot.

Verify Root Status On Mi Note 10 Lite

If you followed all the steps correctly, this time your device should have full root access. To check it, please follow the below steps again.

• Download and install the Magisk Manager app/APK. Skip the step, if alredy installed and launch it.
• To verify that you have a systemless root on Mi note 10 lite, check the top of the screen and if you see all options with Green Tick which means you have successfully rooted and bypassed SafteyNet. That means you have full root access on Mi Note 10 lite MIUI 11.

In case, if you want to revert back to stock ROM or want to un root Mi Note 10 lite then install stock firmware again. Flashing firmware will restore your device into default condition.
