- Before going to use Vizio SmartCast app for tv, enable the same wifi on both TV and your mobile phone.
- Download and install VIZIO SmartCast Mobile app on your Smartphone and then launch it. Here you can sign-in or can choose the skip option.
- Now tap on the menu button >> scroll up the screen and select “setup a new device” option from the list.
- Click on “get started” from the welcome screen >> select preferred “language” >> and tap to ‘pair your device display” from the new window.
- Hold your mobile phone near the bottom right corner of Vizio TV to start pairing with your Smart TV.
- When it is paired, click the Control icon on the lower end of the screen.
- Now, you will get the “Vizio remote layout” on your mobile. Click the Power button to turn on your TV.
- With the mobile app, you can control many other functions of Vizio TV with ease.
Note: This app works only and only for Vizio SmartCast TVs. You can’t control the Vizio models that are released before 2015 with the app.
