Now open phone “setting” option and enable USB debugging & OEM unlock.

[USB debugging must be enable on the device. Otherwise you can’t run the adb commands through the pc.]

Power off the device properly and then connect it with pc while holding the volume down key.
Device should be boot into bootloader mode or fastboot mode.
Once the device connected into fastboot mode, execute the below command through the command window.

fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery.img

[Command will flash twrp recovery on the device]

Copy or type the command and hit enter.

fastboot reboot

[Command will reboot the device from fastboot to normal mode]

Done! twrp recovery should be installed on the device. For confirmation, power off >> press & hold volume up + power key together at the same time.

[C] Flash Root File & Root Huawei P20 / P20 Pro

Now we are on our final step. After twrp recovery installation, we can flash any third party zip file easily. So here you can flash Magisk or Suapersu root file to root Huawei P20 & P20 Pro mobile. Select any one file to root the device. No need to use pc to flasg root file that means, root Huawei P20 Pro without pc or computer.

Switch off the device properly.
Boot Huawei P20 pro into TWRP recovery mode by holding volume up key + power key together at the same time.
At first boot, newly installed twrp recovery will ask you to choose “Kepp read only” or “swipe to allow modification” option. We recommend you to select “Swipe to allow modification” option.
