Now, here in this method we will use twrp custom recovery to flash or install Nougat firmware on Huawei p9 lite B402 Smartphone. So, make sure you have already installed twrp recovery and downloaded all required files on pc. If yes, then go ahead for the next step and install android nougat Stock ROM on Huawei P9 lite B402.
Note- Make sure you have downloaded only the supported firmware for your device. Don’t try to flash unsupported firmware. Otherwise you may brick your device or it may be stuck on bootloop.
- First of all, boot Huawei into TWRP recovery using key combinations.
- Click on the “wipe” option, select “Advanced Wipe” >> Select wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, Data and Swipe to confirm flash.
- Connect the device with pc and copy all three files [update.zip, update_full_VNS-L31_hw_eu.zip andupdate_data_full_public.zip files] into the internal storage of your device without any folder.
- Again go to recovery, select “install” option and browse “Update.zip” file and flash it. Flashing process may take approx 5-6 minutes to complete. So don’t interrupt in between the process.
- Once again go to the main menu, select “Install” option and flash the both update_full_VNS-L31_hw_eu.zip and update_data_full_public.zip files one by one.
- After completing the process, again go to “Wipe” select “format” option and swipe it. Same as select “Advance Wipe” >> Select wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, Data and Swipe to confirm flash.
- In the last, click on reboot System to boot the device into normal mode.
- All Done!!! You have successfully installed Huawei P9 Lite B402 Nougat Stock Rom for Europe variant.
Here it may take a long time to boot in normal mode after flashing. So, keep patience and sit back.
