If we talk about camera, Poco takes this feature very seriously. For this it have quad camera setup for its rear camera including a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Officially there is no any IP rating for Poco X2 android mobile. That means, Poco phone does not promise for waterproof device. But officially they mention p2i splash proof coating on Poco X2. That means, Poco X2 have ability to work well in wet condition. In short, we can consider Poco X2 as a Sami waterproof android device.

We tested Poco x2 with 5 Gallon water for 15 minutes and surprisingly everything was file without any issues.

After applying the 10 gallon water test for 30 minutes, screen was ok but much hardware damaged.

Poco X2 offially announced that this device comes with splash poof coating and it’s enough to protect the device from accidental water splash.
After applying a water test on Poco X2, we found that device is quite able to work fine in wet condition. But it’s surly not a waterproof device. Camera and phone screen are working fine after water test but earpiece and I/O ports are not working properly. As a result, we can say Poco X2 is not a waterproof Smartphone. So avoid this phone if you are looking Poco X2 waterproof mobile. Just because of p2i splash proof coating, it can handle accidental water splashes quite easily. In our water test Poco X2 is completely fail and t cannot withstand underwater long enough.

After applying a water test on Xiaomi Poco X2 mobile for water proof resistance test, we found that it’s not a full waterproof android Smartphone. But it comes with splash proof coating, so we can use this device in limited wet condition. Device stopped working and hardware are much affected.
