As we already told you that Lava Z80E is MediTek android smartphone and its firmware is based on scatter loading file, so we can use “Sp multi port download tool” or “Sp flash tool”. So we are adding both tools to flash Lava Z80E mobile. Both MTK flash tools are free to use without box and without any extra technical skill. But remember one thing, wrong flashing method or one wrong step may brick the device permanently. So do it carefully on your own risk.

Method 01 : Flash Lava Z80E Using Sp Flash Tool

In this method, we will use most popular MTK flash tool, SP Flash Tool which is more reliable mobile repairing tool for all MTK chipset based devices, including Lava Z80e.

• Download and install “MTK Drivers” or “VCOM Drivers” on windows pc. Lava Z80E usb drivers installation is must to create bridge connection in between pc and mobile. Skip the step, if drivers are already installed.
• Extract the downloaded “Lava Z80E firmware file [ Lava_Z80E_MT6737M_V1.0_S304_20171125_7.0.zip” on pc. It will contain scatter loading file in firmware folder.

• Once the tool launched, click on “Choose” button from “Download Agent” section and load “Da File” from sp flash tool folder.

• Next, click on “choose” button from “Scatter loading” section and browse “MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt file” from firmware folder.

• Now tool will load and check all files. It will take few minutes to complete process.

• Again select “DOWNLOAD Only” option, if your device is working, otherwise select “Format All + Download” option id your device is dead.

Note: “Format all + Download” option will wipe IMEI number of the device. You can flash IMEI again using any MTK IMEI repair tool.

• Finally click on “DOWNLOAD” button from top of the tool to start flashing process.
• Come to the device, power off it, remove & Re-insert USB cable for once and attach USB cable.

Lava Z80e Boot Key : No need to press any key. Just remove & re-insert battery + Insert USB cable

• Tool will detect the device and flashing process will start automatically. Flashing process may take long time to flash complete ROM. So sit back and don’t unplug USB cable.
• After successful flashing, you will see big “OK” message on the tool’s window.

• Unplug USB cable, remove & re-insert USB cable and reboot the device manually.
• Done!!! Flashing completed and setup the device as a new device and this time it will boot with newly installed stock ROM.

In this way, users can install firmware on Lava Z80e with Sp flash tool.

Important : Flashing firmware can fix all software problems but it cant remove FRP lock. If the device is asking for Google account verification, follow the guide to unlock Lava Z80e Frp lock.
