STEP01 Boot Redmi Note 5 PRO Into EDL Mode

• First of all power off the Redmi Note 5 pro properly.
• Now open back cover of the device carefully. Make sure you are not going to damage any hardware of the device.
• Once the back cover opened, disconnect the battery connector.

• At the bottom of the “Mi flash tool” you may see three different options. Select anyone from them and finally hit on “FLASH” button to start firmware flashing.

Clean all – This option will wipe all user data & phone data completely.

Save User Data – It will not wipe user data from your device.

Clean all & Lock – This function will lock bootloader again and will wipe your device completely.

• Flashing process should be start and you can see green flashing process bar on the mi flash tool.
• Here it may take approx. 10-15 minutes to install complete ROM on Redmi Note 5 Pro.
• End of the process, mobile will reboot automatically and you are free to unplug the device.

Please NOTE: After flashing, Device can take long time to reboot automatically. So sit back and wait for normal reboot. Don’t try to apply force reboot method.

Once the device restarts automatically, setup the device again and this time will not ask you to enter existing Mi account and you can skip it.
